We are living a digital transformation, we changed the way we create and deliver value with our content. Today we continuously transform text and images in a digital format. With one click we share our content a worldwide audience. My creativity and my desire to support meaningful projects led me to expand my digital knowledge and my skills. I’m very proud of the projects I made and I am looking forward to new challenges. My desire to go on was not limited to creating projects just because required by the type of study but I also went on for personal taste independently.
Academic Projects
Strategy & Consultancy
Strategy and Consultancy are where my skills are more directed to and fit with my personality. I’m empathetic, curious and a thinker, but most of all I like to help people solve their problems. I enjoyed researching for a Digital Advertising and Marketing case study.
During my studies, I analysed the branding campaigns of two companies, Samsung and Compare the market. I focused on their advertising campaigns Antidiary, an album by Rihanna and Compare the Meerkat. I reported evidence of cross-platform strategies and of the use of social media as a perfect way to engage with users and how to make their campaigns interactive. I explored the interactive tools practised on both websites and the usage of a mobile communication strategy based on an app. With this, I evaluated the employment of a gaming advertising strategy. The branding strategy is a fundamental part of marketing and communication strategies which apply storytelling as a key element in the company.
Project Management
Agile Project Management skills were an essential part of my studies, where I discussed the evidence of solutions to potential issues between two companies and their team management.
The purpose of the report was to analyse and showcase best-practices to deliver the product on time with the expected quality standard. I outlined further actions that the company could implement to improve their strategies, such as client communications and helpful tools. Additionally, an Agile method with the waterfall approach was applied to the existing team communication strategy.
Radio
Volunteer at Amlak Live Radio
This Radio is a digital online radio based in London, sharing reggae music.
I’m presenter in a weekly show where I present different themes and music topics.
Vibez Time
My radio show is called Vibez Time, and its a mixdown of different music genres and Laura G top10 Specials every week.
Internship London One Radio
Since 2015 London One Radio broadcasts music to the Italian- speaking community in London. I was responsible for editing video and co-presenting a radio show.

Certificate – Radio Course
I obtained a certificate from Point Blank Music College. I started in 2015 with the Radio Production Course where I learned how to do Vox Pops, edit audio, and produce a radio show.
I didn’t find a way to make a lightbulb, I found a thousand ways how not to make one.

Periodically, I share articles, curiosities about music artists, music periods, and genres in my music’s blog. I have a passion for researching and learning more about music. Writing for MusiCase satisfies my curiosity and helps me keep an open mind about the variety of music genres.

Video
I am a creative person, I love drawing, dancing, singing and playing instruments. I can play piano and guitar too and with digital innovation, I developed a passion for the digital field as well. I started collecting pictures, adding the appropriate music to them and make videos for friends and family. This is where I discovered my love for combining music and sounds with visuals!
After graduating in Science of Communication, I obtained a Master in Digital Media in London which allowed me to improve and broaden my skills. This has made me more confident but also more eager to create better digital projects.
During the MA I made a video opinion piece called Coming from mafia land, where I expressed my opinion about the misjudgement of Sicily and the Mafia. I am from Sicily and it surprises me to learn how people feared to visit Sicily because of the mafia. Sicily is a very welcoming island with good food and good people with a big heart. So, we know the Mafia is everywhere, so should we stop travelling out of fear?
One of the documentaries that I would like to highlight is my short documentary ” Reggae is a Mission, not a competition” Here, I explored the path of reggae music from Jamaica to the UK by interviewing 2 artists, respectively, one of the pioneers of reggae music, Dennis AlCapone, and Ramaika Boyz witnesses of today’s dancehall.

I also supported the creative team of RenkoLondon with filming. Renko London is an art and a design-led company offering beautiful pieces of art, home decor, textiles, clothing and accessories from an eclectic mix of distinguished and contemporary artists.

Events
Plastic Kills Event
I organised a musical event in London called Plastic Kills, t promote the artist I was managing for my internship. I really enjoyed I m very proud of the results and also the experience gave me more confidence too. I made a marketing campaign via email, I made phone calls to Universities of Arts, Music and Fashion to invite students to the event. Plus, during the night I invited a makeup artist to let the people engage more and make the event more characteristic.

BiGyal Event
In 2011 together with Shani Lahori I organised an event that we called Bigyal.
From social media marketing to the pricing of tickets and the music selection, we created Bigyal from the conception to the final execution.
