THE 80’S

The 80s were the years of discovery, of continuous change and political re-establishment. Wars for independence, democracy, and wars of religion. They are the victims of the spread of drugs which in turn has overcome criminality. The use of cocaine and heroin has grown causing the spread of AIDS. That’s why there were high crime rates in central cities during the American crack epidemic.
Nevertheless, the 80s kept their simplicity and in the same way extravagance in ways of doing and thinking.
The 80s are those of the awareness of possessing the ability and the strength to change things, to grow or simply to fight for their own rights Unlike today, during the 80s there was more security among young people. Because there was more work for young people.

In 1986, the same year of MTV ‘s debut, the digital innovation led to the advent of the digital video. The latter was the first video music show in which viewers can dial the show’s number and request the favorite music video.
The music’s stars of the moment owe a special thanks to MTV that gave the success of the musical piece of the musical star of the moment. Just to give a couple of examples Michael Jackson and Madonna
If we want to summarise in a few words, I would say that 1980 is: color, creativity, safety, and eccentricity.
