TUPAC

tupac

Tupac Shakur ( 16 June 1971- 13 Sept 1996) from the start made a powerful bond with his fans rapping about the reality of life on the streets of America. As Big Syke (a member of Thug life with the Rated R, Mopreme Shakur, and Macadoshis)  said: “ Tupac when he put pen to paper, he opens up his mouth, every song he wrote his life was coming out like he was just taking the blood out of them”. Tupac is one of the iconic rappers of the all time. He is considered a symbol of resistance and activism against inequality.

STYLE

His uniqueness comes from true issues of life, anger, emotional and straight.  He got flow but also lyrics. He is a storyteller dedicated and this dedication can be seen from his music technically. We can admit there were better rappers, but the strength of his words is what made him and his music one of a kind. His music’s style was different, mothers, sisters, gangsters, everyone can feel his music.  As he said once in an interview, his message is not just for the black community but also for all communities. Also, Tupac wasn’t scared and that’s what the government didn’t like. He opened his mouth and say the truth was on his mind.

20 years ago he said “I’ll change the world, I’ll give myself 20 years” well .. If he were still alive he would have done it! He changed the music and the way of making music. He wanted to make an order to the rise of gangs violence in the streets. Focused on the importance of the strength of rap which is the voice of people’s anger against injustice and pain caused by poverty and fed by the government and those who work for it …

Police and corrupt law enforcement agencies are ruining the lives of so many African- Americans, increasing anger against them and smearing the real reason why police exist. The situation is really very serious, even in England but in America, there is no comparison because of the guns. Everyone knows that in England the police don’t walk around armed, and I’m very happy about it because if we compare the victims they could defend with those who could be wrongly killed  … well, it’s better to be unarmed. What I m saying is,  if you give a gun to a bad guy…what you think he can do? Think about how many bad people are around…We are an unjust human race where there is no respect either you are a priest, a policeman or a teacher. Of course, there are good people, but unfortunately, also too many people who have so much wickedness in them that they do not look at anyone for their business. But Tupac is not just that…He speaks also about love and everyday life, love, respect and reality. He wants a better society and he knows how to motivate people to be better.

THUG LIFE

Tupac is the THUG LIFE’s founder, which is the acronym for “The Hate U Give Little Infants Fucks Everyone” which is the attitude to succeed in life although the injustices, violence and racism.

The concept of Thug Life is been misunderstood as “criminal life” but it’s not! it’is actually the opposite. It concerns mainly the black community also because they have suffered racial unfairness in person, but it is a universal message that refers to whom starts everything with their own strengths from nothing and started to shape their own life with pride… Essentially, the more we spread hate among our children the more they will grow with suffocated anger and since they are our future, well… I don’t need to say anything else. Do you want love? Well, give it some then!!!

I didn’t see yet today somebody as Tupac so passionate and fearless to fight the injustice, that’s why he is one of a kind!!! I believe is not enough an article to sum his “mission”! I love him, I have been listening to his music since I started to know Hip Hop and he always cheers me up and motivates me. I usually used to listen to my favourite song” Staring through my rear view” before an exam to make me feel ready and also for good luck ( I have to admit that didn’t work sometimes! 🙂 lol)  Anyway I hope I gave you an idea about why he is a legend! Of course I will write more about him and about the feud ( media says) between east coast and west coast) but for now, enjoy the playlist made by my favourite songs of Tupac to commemorate him with his music. I open the playlist with a song that Young Noble, Outlawz member, said,  Tupac really liked before he passed out ( Blackberry molasses by Mista), and I love it ( 2019, Vegas). This is for you Tupac
